A 2 day celebration marking the end of the summer season in Peniscola. The Moors and Christians Parade through the street of Peniscola in full costume, with music, spectacular Moorish and Knights Templar costumes, and displays of horsemanship.
With the backdrop of the Moor castle in Peniscola, which was the castle used in the film ' El Cid' with Charlton Heston, the parade is an entertaining and memorable event, marking the Moors occupation of Spain and their removal by the Knights of the Knights Templar.
