Set amid palm trees in a quiet district of Forio d'Ischia, the Hotel Parco Maria Terme is a modern, whitewashed Mediterranean hotel located two kilometres from the town centre and four kilometres from Citara Bay. Naples International Airport is 25 kilometres away, and takes approximately 70 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. The hotel has three thermal pools and a solarium, and guests can relax in the hotel spa, which offers a range of treatments including mud preparations, massage and reflexology. The hotel features a nudist area, a complimentary shuttle bus to the beach, and a children's play area. Two bars are available onsite, and further amenities include a multilingual concierge service, complimentary parking and laundry facilities.
The Hotel Parco offers two dining options: the hotel's main restaurant enjoys a modern, rustic setting and serves Italian and regional dishes, and the Taverne Gabrielle is poolside terrace restaurant offering snacks, drinks and light refreshments. Both restaurants offer weekly entertainment.
Guestrooms. The 85 guestrooms, over four floors, feature modern Mediterranean style decor and extend to balconies or terraces. Amenities include air conditioning, satellite television, direct dial phones, hair dryers and minibars.
Expert Tip. Ischia, located ten kilometres from the hotel, is divided into two areas: the historic centre Ischia Ponte (formerly Borgo Celsa) and Ischia Porto, the waterfront resort area. Highlights include the Aragonese Castle, with foundations dating from the fifth century BC.
